MISSION TRIPS - PARTICIPANT GUIDELINES
Thank you for choosing Camping Pros for your mission trip catering needs. In order to provide a fun, safe and memorable experience for everyone, we have a few guidlines we need participants to follow. To help us better serve you, please review the following guidelines with your group. A copy of this page will be sent to your trip leader to sign and send back with the paperwork. Please feel free to call or email with any questions. We appreciate your cooperation.
FOOD LINES: To reduce waste and ensure everybody gets a chance to try everything on the menu, please take moderate meal portions. You are more than welcome to come back for seconds after everyone has gone through the line.
BAGGED LUNCHES: Please, Please, Please do not take food to the families you are building houses for. As much as we would love to feed all the families, the food we serve is strictly for the mission trip participants. We appreciate your cooperation on this.If you wish to purchase additional bagged lunches please see the Camping Pros staff upon your arrival to camp.
FOOD TIMES: (subject to change based on number of people being served)
- 5:30am - Coffee is available
- 6:00am - Lunch line opens (build your own sack lunch)
- 6:30am - Breakfast is served
- 6:00pm - 7:00pm - Dinner is served (based upon groups returning times to camp)
- Campfire snacks served shortly after dinner
COOLERS/IGLOOS: Please return coolers and igloos daily to the Camping Pros kitchen immediately upon returning to camp from the worksites.
HOT WATER: Please do not take hot water from the beverage station for showering.
BRUSHING TEETH: Please do not brush your teeth at the beverage station.WASTE: To reduce waste and help the environment, please reuse cups, plates and flatware as much as possible.
STAFF AREA: To ensure the safety of everyone, please stay out of the Camping Pros kitchen at all times.
TENTS: (if applicable)
- Please keep all open food and beverage containers outside tents
- Please be gentle on zippers (do not force them)
- Please no horseplay in and around the tents
- Please let the staff know if you have any problems with your tent
