About Us
Company History
Troy Hemingway, Founder of Camping Pros, Inc., came up with the idea of setting up all-inclusive camping trips while working for a company specializing in corporate picnics in San Diego. He thought that by providing a completely furnished campsite, he would create a unique setting for all types of group functions. The mobility would allow Camping Pros the flexibility to set up virtually anywhere.
Camping Pros was founded in 1994 and had it's first campout for friends and family at Dos Picos County Park in Ramona, CA. In 1999 Camping Pros crossed paths with Amor Ministries and started offering it's services to groups signed up for Amor's short-term mission trips to Mexico. Our services complimented each other well and Camping Pros has since catered hundreds of mission trips to Mexico through Amor Ministries.
